  • A lecture by French architect Jacques Ferrier

    With the support of the French Embassy to Canada and the Culturesfrance agency, Carleton University will welcome French architect Jacques Ferrier in Ottawa on Wednesday, December 5 at 6:00pm. Jacques Ferrier will give a lecture in English : “Sustainable Innovations”. The lecture will take place at the National Gallery of Canada’s Auditorium.

    French writer Claude Arnaud will give a lecture in French entitled "La vie est un essai, la biographie un roman" (Life is an essay, Biography a novel) on Monday, November 26 at 5:00pm at the University of Ottawa.

  • Céline Curiol at the Ottawa Writers Festival

    As part of a Canadian tour, the Embassy of France will welcome young French novelist Céline Curiol in Ottawa on October 15 and 16. She will make two presentations of her book "Voice Over" at the Alliance Française (in French) and at the Ottawa International Writers Festival (in English).

  • Lionel Hoche in residency at the Groupe DanceLab

    French choreographer and dancer Lionel Hoche will be in residency at the Groupe Dance Lab from September 8-30, 2007. As a result of this 3 weeks-choreographic research, he will present a new creation "Back to Black N°2" on September 28 and 29 at the Arts Court Theatre.
