ENGIE Services wins a facility management contract for Etobicoke General Hospital in Ontario

On July 8th, 2016, ENGIE Services announced that it had secured a 32-year facility to deliver integrated facility management services to the new tower (Phase 1 of the redevelopment project) at William Osler Health System’s Etobicoke General Hospital in Ontario. This significant public-private partnership project, to be carried out jointly with ENGIE subsidiary ENGIE MultiTech (formerly known as Cofely Adelt), will consolidate ENGIE Services’ growing footprint in Ontario. Rogers (telecommunications) joins forces with OVH to offer new cloud solutions for Canadian companies

Telecommunications group Rogers has partnered with OVH, the European leader in cloud and Internet infrastructure, to launch a new public cloud solutions service that will allow companies to store their data in Canada and to simplify the management of their infrastructure. More information.

Derichebourg (waste management) secures its first contract with a major city in Québec

Derichebourg Environnement is establishing its operations in the Québecois market with a 4-year waste collection contract—with an option for three additional years—with the City of Gatineau. Under this agreement, the European giant will collect household waste and recycling and provide other service activities involving an investment of $10 million CAD and the hiring of roughly 100 employees in the Ottawa Valley Region. This is also the first contract with a major city in Québec for the company, which established its North American headquarters in Montréal last December.

Air France offers a new Montréal-Québec bus connection

Starting September 26th, 2016, Air France customers will be able to travel to Québec thanks to a new daily connection between Montréal-Trudeau International Airport and Sainte-Foy train station in Québec. The service will take travelers from Montréal to Québec in Air France’s 52-seat, Wifi-equipped buses. More information.
