The Ambassador was welcomed by the Lieutenant Governor, the Honourable David Onley.

During his first visit to Toronto, Monday, November 28, 2011, the Ambassador of France to Canada, Philippe Zeller, accompanied by the Consul General of France in Toronto, Jérôme Cauchard, was welcomed by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Honourable David Onley.

The Légion d’Honneur awarded to Professor Sylvain Baruchel

Later in the day, the Ambassador of France to Canada awarded the insignia of the Légion d’Honneur to Professor Sylvain Baruchel, who is known for his commitment, his research and his fight against AIDS and cancer in children.
