The official selections for the 2011 Toronto International Film Festivalarea a testament to the quality of French productions and co-productions and the dynamic nature of our market: 45 films were selected including three in the prestigious Gala selection:

The Vision selection, devoted to avant-garde films, includes L’Apollonide, Souvenirs De La Maison Close by Bertrand Bonello.

Four French productions will be shown as part of the Contemporary World Cinema : Les Hommes Libres by Ismaël Ferroukhi, Omar m’a Tuer by Roschdy Zem, Présumé Coupable by Vincent Garenq and Un Amour De Jeunesse by Mia Hansen-Løve.

Anne Fontaine and Mathieu Kassovitz will present the first sneak previews of their respective films, Mon Pire Cauchemar and L’Ordre Et La Morale as part of the Special Presentations. This category also includes Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud’s Poulet Aux Prunes and The Artist by Michel Hazanavicius, Les Amants by Nicolas Klotz et Un été Brûlant by Philippe Garrel.

A wonderful French artistic delegation, accompanied by Unifrance will attend TIFF to present the selected films:
