THE FRANCE-CANADA RESEARCH FUND (FCRF) is launching its 11th Call for Proposals of its regular program. The FCRF supports Franco-Canadian joint research projects, based on the excellency.
The FCRF was created on, 2000 to encourage and develop exchanges of excellence between France and Canada in the fields of research and postsecondary education.
The project must bo a joint project between French and Canadian partners. Are eligible:
The selection process will focus especially on the scientific quality and originality of the project, on the competence and complementarity of the applicant teams, the involvement of younger individuals (doctoral or post-doctoral students, faculty researchers).
Applications for renewals or extensions cannot be accepted.
The funding on selected projects has to take place between $ 8 000 and $15 000 for 2 years
1. Application submission
Applications have to be sent only by e-mail to:

AND to the Embassy of France at: assistant.science@ambafrance-ca.org

2. Preselection
Each Canadian University member of the Consortium will then preselect 3 applications. The Deadline is December 15, 2010.
3. Additional documents
The research teams whose application has been preselected will have to provide an additional more detailed form
This form could be download once the preselection is done
4. Expertise
A scientific assessment will be made independently on the Canadian side and on the French side
5. Final Selection
The executive Committee will proceed to the final selection of the applications
